Public Meeting: Review & Comment On 10 Proposed Street Designs
The City of Memphis Division of Engineering has scheduled a public input meeting on ten street re-paving projects, almost all of which include bike lanes in the proposed designs. Hightailers that register on this page will have the opportunity to receive volunteer points. We need as many people to participate as possible.
Event Coordinator: Earn 50 Volunteer Points. Stationed at the entrance to check in Hightailers that signed up.
Meeting Attendee: Earn 10 Volunteer Points
TIME: 5:30pm-7:30pm (Come and Go and needed.)
To earn points you must be pre-registered on the site and report to the Hightailers Event Coordinator. Registration will close 24 hours prior to the event.
MATA bus routes 50 and 34 directly serve the Central Library. Bike parking is available near the main entrance.
Recognizing an individual’s busy personal schedule, the meeting will be conducted in an open house format. Citizens may come and go at anytime during the two-hour window.

N. Highland St. – Summer Ave. to Walnut Grove Rd.
Riverside Dr. – Jefferson Ave. to Beale St.
N. Perkins St. – Summer Ave. to Walnut Grove Rd.
Hickory Hill Rd. – Mt. Moriah Rd. to Winchester Rd.
Knight Arnold Rd. – Hickory Hill Rd. to Ridgeway Rd.
Riverdale Rd. – Winchester Rd. to Shelby Dr.
Cooper St. – Washington Ave. to Central Ave.
Getwell Rd. – Park Ave. to I-240.
Airways Blvd. – Shelby Dr. to TN/MS State Line
Mendenhall Rd. – Knight Arnold Rd. to Mt. Moriah Rd.
