Bio:
I was born in Memphis, TN. I attended the University of Memphis and majored in Marketing. My experience comes from being in advertising for a local nightlife magazine and working as a Event Coordinator for Performa Entertainment Real Eatate, Inc. for 4 years. My job on Beale Street introduced me to Rita Pfeifer (past MHBC president) and Barry Smith (past MHBC president), we worked on the BCB 100 for 3 years together. After those years I became more involved in the Memphis Hightailers and now sit on the Board of Directors as the Ride Director for 2010.
I have been cycling for over 5 years but just got serious about bicycling 2 years ago. I did my first Triathlon the Dragon Fly, #2 MS150s, The Big Dam 100 and #2 BCB100s. My real passion is SOCCER. I have always played soccer since I was 4yrs old. I just incorporated the bicycling into my training.
I look forward to growing our #3 major rides for 2010 and growing our partnerships to put MHBC events on the map. I think Memphis needs more events that promote health & fitness and the MHBC is doing their best.
