POTTS CAMP, MS — The Memphis Hightailers Bicycle Club (MHBC) has officially expanded its regional cycling calendar with the announcement of Climb Time Gravel, a new event set to take place on May 2nd.
Diverging from the flat, paved routes typically associated with the Bluff City, this inaugural ride will take cyclists into the rugged backcountry of Mississippi. The event is scheduled to depart at 8:00 a.m. from Potts Camp, offering riders a morning defined by elevation and grit.

Gear and Terrain
Due to the loose surfaces and significant elevation changes, organizers strongly recommend using a gravel-specific or mountain bike. These setups provide the necessary traction and stability required for Mississippi’s rolling hills.
"Whether you're looking for an early May adventure or a fresh challenge to kickstart your season, Climb Time Gravel is designed to be a highlight of the year," the club stated in their announcement.
Registration Details
Registration is now officially open for the event. Cyclists can secure their spot and view detailed route maps through the Memphis Hightailers website.
