The Temple Israel Environmental Task Force and the Germantown Parks &
Recreation Dept. will  sponsor the fifth Cycle the Germantown Greenway
on Sunday, June 5, 2011.  The ride to benefit the Wolf River Conservancy
will begin at 7250 Wolf River Blvd. at the grove parking lot of the
Germantown Greenway located behind the Texas Gas Pipeline, west of
Germantown Road.  Outdoors, Inc. is a primary contributor to this year's
ride.

This year Josh Pastner, Head Coach, Men's Basketball at the University
of Memphis will help start the ride and serve as Honary Rider.

There will be various options to bicycle from 20 to 50 miles for adult
riders with SAG stops provided.  There will also be an EcoRide
appropriate for families led by a WRC biologist from 2 to 10 miles
totally on the Greenway.

The Wolf River Conservancy's mission is to conserve and enhance the Wolf
River corridor and watershed as a sustainable natural resource.
Registration by May 22 is $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children
under 13 with penalties after May 21.
