I don't know if I'm going to have the time to do a long ride this weekend. Are we still thinking of an extended Charles Finney ride?

Looks like a great idea to me. What time should we plan to start the add on?    Tommy

Exactly what I was thinking. I would recommend meeting at RB's early and
riding 15 or so and looping back there to start with the whole crowd.

What about adding 15 (or more) miles to RB's Ride to Spring, this weekend? Any other YR's riding that one?

Martie

Hi All:

A group of four enjoyed the Byhalia-Oxford 105 miler on an excellent day for riding to complete the month of March. We four hope to get credit for this ride via the MHBC YR website as an organized UMCA option. Jon Wade is in charge of this legality.

We YR folks need start to begin considering what rides we want for April. Some suggestions:
* The Annual Finney Ride on April 14th can be extended for a YR qualifier.
* Any of the YR distance qualifying rides done thus in 2012 far can be considered.
* There are a few Charity Rides available in April. Check the numerous bike club web sites for ideas.

* Members need to offer suggestions and a consensus can be made.
* A new route can be suggested for consideration.
RUSA participants have a few options for April:

* Check the Haprpeth Ultra link for options:
* http://harpethbikeclub.com/ultra_page/brevet-rides
* We may do over one of the local 200k Perms

* Lexington-Shiloh 200K is a good new route. I will ride this on Good Friday to update controls, etc.
* This Perm may require a Friday nite Motel stay or do a real earybird travel start.

  • The Annual Finney Ride on April 14th can be extended for a YR qualifier.
  • Any of the YR distance qualifying rides done thus in 2012 far can be considered.
  • There are a few Charity Rides available in April. Check the numerous bike club web sites for ideas.
  • Members need to offer suggestions and a consensus can be made.
  • A new route can be suggested for consideration.
RUSA participants have a few options for April:

  •  Check the Haprpeth Ultra link for options:
  • We may do over one of the local 200k Perms
  • Lexington-Shiloh 200K is a good new route. I will ride this on Good Friday to update controls, etc.
  • This Perm may require a Friday nite Motel stay or do a real earybird travel start.
